Red
Claire recently recorded the voice of ‘Little Red’ for Feral Productions’ new immersive theatre event, RED. This musical retelling of Little Red Riding Hood brings a current, feminist tone to the classic fairytale. It will be playing in Hereford Monday 26 - Saturday 31 October 2026 and is supported by Arts Council England, The Elmley Foundation, Herefordshire Wildlife Trust, National Trust, Woodland Trust and Visit Herefordshire.
About the Piece
Step off the path… if you dare.
Red is not the fairytale you remember. This bold, immersive outdoor adventure reimagines Little Red Riding Hood for a new generation. Red is no longer the girl who strays, but the one who leads.
As night falls, audiences journey together through Queenswood Country Park, guided by live performers, cinematic sound through headsets and breathtaking projection mapping that transforms the forest around you. Shadows shift, stories unfold and the line between reality and imagination disappears.
Red is a gripping and provocative experience that explores courage, independence and what it means for women and girls to feel safe – and powerful – in the world after dark. This is about reclaiming space, rewriting stories and discovering the magic that lives in nature at night.
See the woods in a whole new way.
Reclaim the woods. Rewrite the story.
